—[BEGINNING OF TRANSCRIPT] [Trisha Yearwood] Hey, it’s Trisha Yearwood and you’re
watching The Strip LIVE. [Maria Ngo] So, Ms. Trisha, we also spent 24/7 together as husband and wife team. [Trisha Yearwood] Oh really? [Maria Ngo] Yeah, and we spoke to Garth back in December. He said that the key to everything was faith in God and have the right people around you. What do you feel has been your keystone to success? Because my word! You’re do… You have the Coffee Talk Show… You’ve got your Food Show… You’re doing your tours… You’re doing books. You’re a mom. You’re a wife… How do you do it and accomplished so much? [Trisha Yearwood] I think I mean; I agree with him with both of our faith is very strong. I think that’s a big part of it. You know that you have to… and you do have to surround yourself with people who are not only good at their jobs and can help you get all your stuff done but also just people with good hearts and good…You know. There’s so much going on in the world today. So a friend of mine was saying, “How do you… how do you not just be… wake up every day and just go get through the day?” And he said, “You keep your world small.” You know the people around you that are your people, are your people. And you can… You focus on love and those and then you can love everybody else and you also don’t… I do a lot but I don’t take on anything that I don’t think I won’t enjoy. You know, so I say no to a lot of stuff. You know and I just do the things that I think will be fun and we really are a team. We really do have each other’s backs and we talk do everything and it’s like, “I want to go do this…” And, and, and there it’s never know you can’t go do that. It’s just we talked about how… you know, what has to make our life better? So we say yes the things that we think were gonna make our lives richer and hopefully make other people’s lives richer. [Maria Ngo] Well, do you talk about like certain projects like you know with your, your Cooking Show and your… Do you actually have a conversation with Garth before you pursue anything or do you kind of know that that’s where you’re headed? [Trisha Yearwood] I mean if it’s sometimes… it’s sometimes I say, “Hey this is what I’ve said yes to… and I’m doing it.” And, and he does the same, but if it’s something that I’m not sure about especially gonna say… I live with the most successful entertainer in history of music, you know so he’s a… He’s a great person to ask and he… and I tend to like he said, I tend to kind of jump into things. He’s more thoughtful. So I will, I will… he will always come up with some angle or some opinion about it that I haven’t thought of which is nice. You always want somebody in your corner that can, can say, “Have you thought about it this way?” And usually I’ll come to cope with idea and he’ll make it better by saying, “Hey, what if you do this way?” So he’s a good partner. [Maria Ngo] I’m gonna bring you pair of shoes… Okay. Would you wear? [Trisha Yearwood] Yeah I will… I can’t wear them on stage because we have grading but I would tell I’ll wear those. Okay… [Maria Ngo] Yeah, I’m gonna help. I’m gonna get it for you. I told you, it’s the two of us. [Trisha Yearwood] Thank you. [Maria Ngo] Thank you.
